Doing Life with your Adult Children - Post 1
And so we begin...
Firstly, I think we should begin with the 'why' - Why did you pick up this book?
For me, my sons are 18, 19 and (almost) 21 - and I have realised what a different season this is. I longed for some wisdom from someone who has walked ahead and can look back over his/her shoulder and say 'hey, while your road will be different than mine, here are some tips that I've learned along the way.' So, I reached out to some friends whose kids were of a similar age and asked if anyone knew of a book like that. One of them (Teresa) told me about Jim Burns's book - and so here I am.
